Pet Sitting

$15 per visit up to 15 minutes

$17 per visit up to 30 minutes

$5 for each additional 30 minutes per visit thereafter 

(i.e. $22 for one 1-hour visit, etc.) 

***Please note: pet sitting charges are per time spent at the home, not per pet.***

All prices for pet sitting and house sitting include basic home care and maintenance, including watering plants, bringing in the mail, taking out trash, cleaning litter boxes and cages, etc.

Other services, should they be required, will be added at their regular price to the prices listed above.

Rush hour traffic wastes an enormous amount of time and gas.  For this reason, my regular pet sitting hours are from 8 am - noon for my morning pet sits, 1 pm - 4 pm for my middays, and 7 pm - midnight for my evenings.  If you would like me to come to your house during my off hours, an additional fee of $10/visit will be added.

Fees for all overnight stay options are based on a 24-hr period, with a grace period of 4 hrs.  Arrival more than 4 hrs past the 24-hr mark will be charged an additional day (e.g. if you leave at 2 pm but arrive home at 6:01 pm, you will be charged full price for that day).

Each cage or tank counts as one pet, regardless of how many animals are inside, unless each animal needs individual attention.

Also, please note that other services, should they be required, will be added at their regular price to the prices listed.

$50/day for the first pet

$60/day for 2 - 5 pets

$70/day for 6 - 9 pets

...etc.

This option is for people whose pets have relatively basic needs.  I will still accept regular jobs, including possible shifts at vet clinics (which can be anywhere from 4-10 hrs long) or out-of-town behavior consults (I do consults up to 2 hrs away from Austin and they usually last 2-3 hrs long, so I can be gone for approximately 7 hrs), as if I were living in my own home, but will spend the night and any down time during the day at your home, which means I will be in your home anywhere from 12-22 hrs/day, depending on my schedule.
